Mental Health & Wellness Support

Nonclinical wellness support, care coordination, and connections to qualified outside providers.

Overview

Winn-Wright provides nonclinical wellness support, care coordination, and referrals that can help participants address stress and maintain stability.

Winn-Wright does not provide psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, medical diagnosis, or emergency mental-health services. Those services require an external licensed clinical provider.

Who it serves

  • Winn-Wright residents and eligible program participants.
  • People experiencing stress during reentry or housing transitions.
  • People seeking help connecting with licensed mental-health care.
  • People who meet current program eligibility requirements.

What is included

Winn-Wright may directly provide:

  • Supportive check-ins.
  • Wellness planning.
  • Help identifying personal coping resources.
  • Care coordination.
  • Help locating and organizing referrals to outside providers.
  • Follow-up within program limits.
Licensed assessment, diagnosis, therapy, medication management, and psychiatric care are provided by external clinical professionals.

How the process works

  1. A participant requests wellness support or discusses a concern with staff.
  2. Staff review the request and explain Winn-Wright’s service boundaries.
  3. The participant receives appropriate nonclinical support.
  4. When clinical care is needed, staff may provide an external referral.
  5. The outside provider determines eligibility, availability, fees, and treatment.

Important limitations

  • Winn-Wright is not an emergency or crisis-response provider.
  • An external referral does not guarantee acceptance or an appointment.
  • Outside providers establish their own fees and insurance requirements.
  • Winn-Wright staff do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.
  • Website forms should not contain medical records or urgent safety information.
Immediate danger: Call 911. Do not use the website form for an emergency.
